We love Fernet-Branca in any form, and this syrup simmers down its rooty goodness into a flavoring for cocktails like the Blue Jay.
8 oz. Fernet-Branca
1 cup granulated sugar
Combine Fernet-Branca and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, and stir until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Strain into a glass bottle, cover and keep refrigerated for up to 3 weeks.
