Two lesser-known Italian amari meld with Campari, bitters and London dry gin in this assertively bittersweet Blessed Thistle Negroni.
1 oz. London dry gin
1 oz. Campari
¼ oz. CioCiaro amaro
¼ oz. Cardamaro
Dash aromatic bitters
Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Garnish: orange slice
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir to chill. Strain into a rocks glass over a large cube. Garnish.
