UVA Wine Bar & Kitchen bartender Lily Duong created this limited-edition cocktail in celebration of Negroni Week. Served with fresh fruit in a wine glass, it’s the ultimate summertime sipper.
¾ oz. gin
¾ oz. Campari
¾ oz. Noilly Pratt Ambre vermouth
3 oz. Lambrusco
Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Glass: wine glass
Garnish: strawberry slices
Combine the gin, Campari and vermouth in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled. Strain into a wine glass over fresh ice and add Lambrusco. Stir to combine, then garnish.
