A Texas-distilled corn whiskey sets the scene in this simple sipper.
1 oz. corn whiskey (Thompson uses Balcones True Blue)
3/4 oz. St. Germain
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
Tools: shaker, strainer
Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: brandied cherry or candied orange peel
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish.
