With the crisp sweetness of watermelon and the spicy kick of serrano chile, this is a delicious way to dress up a classic Margarita recipe for summertime.
10 1/4-inch cubes of fresh watermelon
1/3 serrano chile, sliced
1 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
2 oz. Corralejo silver tequila
1 oz. fresh watermelon juice
1 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
Tools: muddler, shaker
Garnish: lime wheel; optional salted rim
Muddle the chile, lime juice and watermelon in a shaker. Add remaining ingredients, fill the shaker with ice and shake well. Pour into a Collins glass, top with additional ice if needed and garnish.
