Tequila’s spirited cousin sotol takes the charge in this milky highball from The Pass & Provisions in Houston.
1 1/2 oz. sotol
1/2 oz. dry Curaçao
1/4 oz. crème de violette
1/2 oz. milk
1/2 oz. turbinado simple syrup (1:1)
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: ground cardamom
Combine all ingredients and shake hard with ice cubes. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass and garnish.
