Malty Dutch gin meets its match in this boozy, slightly floral cocktail from Teardrop in Portland.
2 oz. full-bodied, Dutch-style gin
3/4 oz. yellow Chartreuse
1/2 oz. dry vermouth
1/4 oz. crème de violette, or another violet liqueur
1/4 oz. orgeat syrup
Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer
Garnish: freshly grated orange peel
Fill mixing glass halfway with ice. Add liquid ingredients and stir well to chill. Strain into glass and garnish.
