Dutch East Cocoa

Hot cocoa gets fancy with this spiked winter warmer from Vandaag bar manager, Martim Smith-Mattsson.

1 heaping Tbsp. homemade cocoa mix
3 1/2 oz. whole milk
1/2 oz. Drambuie
3/4 oz. Bols genever
Tools: small saucepan, whisk, barspoon
Glass: mug or Irish coffee
Garnish: fresh whipped cream and cocoa powder

Whisk together cocoa mix and milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Continue whisking until steaming hot, but not boiling. Carefully pour into a preheated mug or Irish coffee glass and stir in Drambuie and genever. Garnish and serve.
