“Barolo chinato has a sophisticated sweet edge,” says New York City bartender Meaghan Dorman, “which makes for a nice end-of-the-evening cocktail.” Try it in Dorman’s nightcap-esque Dolce Finale.
2 oz. VS Cognac 3/4 oz. Barolo chinato 1/4 oz. white crème de cacao 2 dashes Bittermens Xocolatl mole bitters Ice cubes Tools: mixing glass, barspoon, strainer Glass: cocktail Garnish: orange peel
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass, stir with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish.
