This piquant, pepper-spiked cocktail from Lucy’s Fried Chicken in Austin is more like a pinch than a sting.
1 1/2 oz. reposado tequila
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz. honey syrup (1:1)
1 fresh jalapeño wheel (seeds optional)
Tools: muddler, shaker, strainer
Garnish: jalapeño wheel
Gently muddle the fresh jalapeño wheel, add remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
