A spoonful of cherry jam and a splash of ruby port lend a layer of fruitiness to this rye-forward Manhattan.
2 oz. rye whiskey
2 oz. Punt e Mes sweet vermouth
2 Tbsp. cherry preserves
1 oz. ruby port
Tools: shaker, strainer
Garnish: brandied cherry
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
